Doodles

My New collection, "Taming the Restless Mind," was soft launched in October of 2019.  For me as a kid growing up and even as an adult, I have always found creative ways to quiet my restless mind.  For me my mind goes 100 miles an hour all day long.  I suppose it's that ADHD that I had as a kid (probably still do) that was never diagnosed. As a kid I have always doodled.  It's just a part of my nature, like some people write, or play music, I doodle.  For me it creates a channel for my mind to focus on one thing, and not go in a hundred different directions.  Most of my Art does that for me anyway, but the doodle takes me to a quiet place much more than my other creative forms.  When I doodle, I am in my studio, usually with my dog or a cat or two, some light music on, or just quiet, and I am doodling away.  Doodling is a way for me to reset myself.  These pieces are created in a series and titled and numbered.Life presents many challenges, and I hope you enjoy how I have learned to cope with these life challenges in a creative way, expressing myself and quieting my mind.
